The 2023 Hana Group U.S. Free Sushi Giveaway (the “Promotion”) is organized by Hana Group Ops, LLC (the “Company”), with the goal of encouraging our customers to complete our customer satisfaction survey. The Promotion is being offered through the Internet to residents of the United States who are of legal age and who are not residents of the Excluded States and Territories (defined below), in accordance with the provisions of these Rules. The Company’s principal place of business is located at 6390 Hedgewood Drive, Suite 300, Allentown, PA 18106.

By entering the Promotion, you hereby acknowledge that you have read and understand these Rules and agree to be bound by, and subject to, the terms and conditions of these Rules.


The Promotion will be available from 12:00AM on June 1, 2023, until 11:59PM pm on December 31, 2023 (the “Promotion Period”). Participant entries for the Promotion will only be accepted during the Promotion Period, and entries for the Promotion submitted outside of the Promotion Period will be deemed ineligible to participate and shall not be accepted by the Company.


No purchase necessary to enter or win. To enter, Eligible Participants (as defined below) who have purchased any of our products from the retailers where we have a store (excluding any stores located in the Excluded States and Territories) can participate in this Promotion by scanning the QR code on the labels of our sushi packs and completing all questions in our customer satisfaction survey. Participants must be 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of the United States of America (excluding residents of the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico and the U.S. states of Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Idaho, Missouri, South Dakota and Vermont (collectively, the “Excluded States and Territories”)) to participate (“Eligible Participants”).

Alternatively, to enter the Promotion without making a purchase or without completing the customer satisfaction survey, hand print your name, complete address, city, state, zip code, daytime phone number, email address and birth date on a 3” x 5” card and mail it to: Hana Group Ops, LLC, A`n: Marketing Dept. / Satisfaction Survey Free Sushi Giveaway, 6390 Hedgewood Drive, Suite 300, Allentown, PA 18106. Mailed entries must be postmarked by the end of the applicable calendar month of the Promotion Period, to be eligible for the drawing for such calendar month. Each mail-in entry must be mailed in a separate outer envelope. No copies, facsimiles or mechanical reproductions will be accepted. Limit one (1) mail-in entry per Eligible Participant and per post-marked envelope. Partially completed and/or mechanically reproduced entries or rubber-stamped entries will be void and ineligible. All entries received become the sole property of the Company and will not be returned. The Company will not be responsible for illegible, late, lost, mutilated, misdirected, postage due or stolen manual entries.

Limit one entry per Eligible Participant (with respect to entries submied online, an entry will be deemed to have been submied by the owner of the email account from which it was sent; more than one entry from the same owner from another email account(s) shall be deemed to be invalid for entry into the Promotion). Eligible Participants completing our customer satisfaction survey are asked to do so truthfully.

To enter the Promotion and be eligible to receive a prize, you must leave us a contact email in the last question of the customer satisfaction survey or include with your mail-in submission (depending on the method of entry). At the conclusion of every calendar month during the Promotion Period, we will randomly draw four (4) winners from the Eligible Participants submitting valid entries during that month to win free sushi in accordance with Section 4 below.
No preference is given to method of entry.

Additionally, the following shall not be Eligible Participants and they may not participant in the Promotion, nor shall they be eligible to win a prize: (a) employees or agents of Hana Group France SAS, the Company and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies; (b) individuals engaged in the development, production or distribution of materials for the Promotion; and (c) persons who are in the immediate family of any person in any of the preceding categories (including mother, father, sister, brother, daughter, son, spouse, grandmother, grandfather, children or grandchildren), regardless of where they live, or persons who reside in the same household, whether related or not, as any person in any of the preceding categories. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.


We will give away one voucher with an equivalent cash value of $15 to spend on sushi items at
one of our stores to four (4) randomly selected winners from among Eligible Participants
submiing valid entries during each month of the Promotion Period. The prize has no cash value
and may only be used on sushi items at one of our stores. Each prize is personal to the winning
Eligible Participant and is non-transferable. Waiver of the prize will not give any right to
compensation, and therefore cannot be exchanged for any other prize, or for money. Through a
random selection tool of the Company’s choosing, the email addresses of the winners will be
chosen randomly from the pool of Eligible Participants submitting valid entries during the
applicable calendar month of the Promotion Period. Once the winners have been selected, we
will contact the winners via the email addresses provided in their customer satisfaction surveys
or included with their mail-in submissions (depending on the method of entry) no more than 2 times. In the event that 5 days have elapsed since our original notification to a winner and we
have received no response from such winner or such winner has not provided the information
required by these Rules to receive the prize, such winner will be deemed to have forfeited their
prize, and the Company shall be free to select another winner from among the pool of Eligible
Participants submiing valid entries during the applicable calendar month of the Promotion
Period. Each winner will have a maximum period of 5 days from the date of the first email sent
by the Company notifying the winner that they are eligible to receive a prize to indicate their
acceptance of the prize by replying to the email sent by the Company and providing all the information required in the Company’s notification email, including such winner’s telephone number and email address, to enable the Company to deliver the prize to such winner.

When a winner responds to the Company’s email within the 5-day period specified above with
their requested information, the Company will provide the winner with our nearby stores where
they may redeem their prize, and the Company will request the winner to identify their
preferred location for redemption from among the list of stores set forth in the Company’s reply
email. The winner must select by email reply from among the list of stores provided by the
Company, and in the event the winner fails to properly make such selection within seven (7)
days following the date the Company sent its reply email, the winner will be deemed to have
forfeited their prize. Once a winner notifies the Company by email reply in accordance with this
paragraph of their preferred store location to redeem their prize, the Company will reply to the
winner with a confirmation email containing instructions for redeeming their prize at the store
selected by the winner. To redeem their prize, the winner must go to the selected store and
show our team members at that store the Company’s confirmation email and redemption
instructions. The winner may choose any combination of sushi items from that store (and no
other store locations) as long as the total retail value of such items does not exceed $15;
redemption of the prize cannot be combined with other offers. The winner has seven (7) days
from the date the Company sent winner the confirmation email to redeem their prize at their
selected store, or the winner will be deemed to have forfeited their prize.


If it is determined, in the sole discretion of the Company, that any participant does not meet the
requirements set forth in these Rules, or the information provided by them to participate is not
valid, their participation will be considered void, they will be automatically excluded from the
Promotion, and they will be ineligible to receive any prizes awarded under this Promotion.


Comments or opinions whose content is considered inappropriate, that are offensive, insulting
or discriminatory or that could violate the rights of third parties will not be allowed. Comments
against an individual that violate the principles of the right to honor, personal and family privacy
and self-image will not be allowed either. We will not be responsible for the damages caused by
the comments made by the participants in the Promotion, and that at any time could hurt the
sensitivity of other participants.


By way of example, but not limitation, we are not responsible for possible losses, then, delays
or any other circumstance a`ributable to third parties that may affect the development of this
Promotion. We do not assume responsibility in cases of force majeure or fortuitous events that
could prevent the Promotion from taking place or the total or partial enjoyment of the prize.

The Company reserves the right to cancel or modify the Promotion if, in its sole discretion, it
determines that the Promotion is not capable of running as originally planned for any reason
(such as tampering or infection by computer virus, fraud, technical failures, princing or
distribution errors, or any other causes or occurrences have compromised the fairness or
integrity of the contest). If, as a result of an error relating to the entry process, drawing or any
other aspect of the Promotion, there are more potential winners of prizes than contemplated in
these Rules, there will be a random draw amongst all eligible prize claimants aner the
applicable drawing date to award the prize.

In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these
Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Promotion-related materials,
including but not limited to the Promotion entry form, or point of sale, television, print or online
advertising, the terms and conditions of these Rules shall prevail, govern and control.


By entering this Promotion, entrants expressly consent to the Company, its agents and/or
representatives, collecting, using, and disclosing the personal information submied by the entrant with his/her Promotion entry only for (i) the purpose of administering the Promotion and, (ii) with respect to any information submied pursuant to the customer satisfaction survey, for the Company’s legitimate business purposes (without revealing the identity of any entrant in any disclosure), including market research and product improvement, in each case in accordance with these Rules and the Company’s privacy policy (available at: https://hanagroup.eu/general-data-privacy-policy/), unless the entrant and the Company otherwise agree.


The Company reserves the right to modify, extend or terminate the Promotion or these Rules,
to the extent that it does not harm or impair the rights of the Eligible Participants in the Promotion.


Unless otherwise prohibited by applicable law, these Rules will be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without giving effect to the Commonwealth’s principles of conflicts of law. Unless otherwise prohibited by applicable law, the state and federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania shall have jurisdiction to resolve any claim or controversy that may arise in relation to the validity, interpretation or enforcement of these Rules.
