My colleagues call me a “cleaning maniac”, which I think is something we need in our job!
How was your integration at Hana Group?
I’ve started working at Hana Group without any idea of what was waiting for me, but by putting in a lot of effort I’ve learned how to make sushi quickly. The atmosphere at Hana Group is pretty much family-like: I love how if we need anything, in just one call, the managers will do their best to help us.
What motivates you the most at work?
Talking to our clients and hearing their compliments about how fresh, beautiful and tasty our products are. Their satisfaction makes me so proud.
A Hana Group product you’d like to try?
Honestly I’ve tried almost all of our products… Because I needed to in order to sell them well!

I worked for 4 years as a salesman assistant, followed by 4 years in my family’s restaurant as a second chef.
What is your passion?
I’m a car enthusiast!
What made you want to join Hana Group?
Discovering japanese cuisine and working outside of the family circle.
Can you summarize your job?
My job makes it necessary to be versatile for all tasks: temperature check, delivery notes collection, check unsold products, make reports, then start production with the team.
It’s a cool job with a great atmosphere. I’m proud to say my team can rely on me.
What motivates you the most at work?
The good atmosphere, my colleagues, and then the work itself. It’s so different from the restaurant world, as we’re open to customer contact. It’s better than being locked in a kitchen!

I’ve worked for 3 years at the duty free shop in Bangkok International Airport.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I like to travel and chill on the beach!

I’m currently working on having my own resort in Thailand for tourist.

As the leader and head chef, I take care of the team and the sushi production.
What motivates you the most on a daily basis?
Having a team that loves what they do every day, our boss’ positive attitude, and of course the great comments of our customers.

I have to manage team work in order to meet the targets our Area Manager gives us. I have to make all checks to ensure that our corner is 100% meeting expected standards.

What do you like to do outside of work?
A lot of sports – football, basketball…
What was your career before Hana Group?
I used to be a nurse. Working for Hana Group was not easy at the beginning as it was a completely different job, but now I am really happy with the choice I made.
Can you summarize your job?
My job consists of people management and training. On a typical day, I check my emails, call all of my teams on duty, and then I star my tour of kiosks. Currently, I’m working on the analysis of sales flow.
How would you describe the atmosphere at Hana Group?

Your career before Hana Group?
I started working in kitchens at an early age and worked my way up from a pot washer to an area manager.
An anecdote about you?
I once smashed 22 plates throwing one coconut.
If you had to summarize your job?
My job means trying to help lead my team to success, by managing KPIs and coaching my people. On a typical day I get up, check on my teams, check waste and set targets, check my emails, administration, head out for site audit, check production, then check my emails and orders one last time.
What makes you most proud on a daily basis?
Getting to the end of the day knowing I have been able to help and guide others that report in to me (this doesn’t have to be work-related)
What made you want to join Hana Group?
What drove me into joining Hana Group is actually its people. I’ve met people whose values matched mine, such as being firm but fair. Some of them are proof that honesty and hard work pay off.

The Christmas Combo Box, it shows that each year we are still creating fresh and different sushi.

Can you summarize a typical day in your posiiton?
On a typical day, I would start by analysing the previous day’s work, then go out for shop visits. I finish by dealing with emails – often from Area Managers – and staff requests. My biggest motivating factor is the well-being of my teams and the results.
What has your experience at Hana Group brought to you?
Dealing with varied missions and tasks gave me great versatility. You should definitely join Hana Group if you’re looking for a rewarding challenge.

I worked in the UK as a Project Manager in the educational sector.
What do you like to do outside of work?
A looot of sports. Among the weekly favourites, running, pilates, swimming and rock climbing.
What made you want to join Hana Group?
Coming back to Italy after many years abroad, I wanted to change sector and join a company in the food industry. I was looking for a company with an international scope, but still in the main development phase.
If you had to summarize your job?
Being part of HR means working with people for people: dealing with the several aspects of Human Resources in a company of medium-big size, from recruitment to payroll, from benefits to training and also, performance evaluation.
One of the projects you are currently working on?
Following the change of external consultancy service provider, with implementation of new payroll and database systems.
